Outdoor Counselling

Also known as Walk and Talk or Ecotherapy.

Counselling doesn't need to be predictable or linear, because life isn't. Approach your situation in a new way. Whether you prefer to sit on a bench, watch the ocean waves or walk throughout. Outdoor Counselling could be for you.

"Sitting in a room and talking about my problems isn't helpful"

Traditional counselling isn't suitable for everyone. Sitting face-to-face in a confined room can feel intense, formal, or even intimidating, making it harder to relax and open up.

Outdoor counselling offers a more natural and less restrictive environment, where walking side by side or sitting in an open space can reduce feelings of scrutiny and promote a greater sense of ease.

Physiological Benefits

Being in nature can have a calming effect on the nervous system, helping to lower stress and encourage reflection. Just by being outdoors you can change your mental and biological position.

Working outside of the box

The different surroundings provide distractions or metaphors that can support conversation, making the counselling process feel more fluid, accessible, and organic compared to the intensity of in-room counselling.

A Modern Approach to Counselling.
