Outdoor 'Walk & Talk' Counselling

A clinical setting can give a sense of pressure or self-consciousness that gets in the way of honest expression. Outdoor environments strip away a lot of the artificial control we’re used to. Whether it's walking or sitting, counselling outdoors embraces the restorative effects of natural settings.

Physical Health

Exposure to nature lowers stress, blood pressure, and boosts immunity, while exercising outdoors is associated with improved sleep and energy levels.

New Perspectives

The ever-changing landscape of working in nature provides new perspectives that can help shift physical and emotional "stuckness".

Dynamic

Working outdoors offers unpredictability and challenges that parallel real-life. Self-exploration in these environments can offer lasting change.

Being Open

Walking side-by-side can feel less intense than direct eye contact and make it easier to talk and open up. Movement can help thoughts come more freely. People sometimes find they reach insights more naturally in a relaxed setting.
